Joanne produces commission pieces for private collectors and corporate clients both in the UK and abroad. Commissions can take the form of unique presentation pieces, trophies, public art, or one-off bespoke artworks. The commissioning process is an exciting way of working for both the client and artist, and involves various stages depending on timescale, budget and complexity of the project. Initially, an informal discussion takes place to set out ideas and identify the possibilities and parameters of the project. From this, design sketches, specification drawings or renderings are prepared, and once client and artist are satisfied with the proposal, creation of the final design begins. An agreement is put together to encompass the details of the commission and ensure that the outcome meets the client’s requirements.  Whether a long-distance or local project, the commissioning process involves continued dialogue with the client so that the resulting artwork is something which, we hope, surpasses all expectations.
